The Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity (A2EP) works closely with partner organisations here and abroad. In mid-2015 the Global Alliance for Energy Productivity was launched. Jonathan Jutsen, Deputy Chairman of A2EP and Chairman of 2xEP is on the Board.

“The ultimate goal of the Alliance is to double the energy productivity of businesses, cities and countries by 2030. Using energy as productively as possible benefits a wide range of sectors by improving economic performance and growth, facilitating energy access around the world, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, driving technological innovation and increasing the reliability and security of energy infrastructure.

Recognising that specific policy challenges vary from region to region, the Alliance provides an international, energy productivity-focused framework for the development of policies and programs that promote greater economic prosperity and a more secure future across all regions. The Alliance network connects policymakers and business leaders to share proven policy solutions.
